At 10pm Tim decided to pick me up to go for a coffee, which was kind of random, but I was bored, so i thought "what the hey?" We ended up doing drive-thru and going to the house that he is house sitting at, out in the boons.
It's a nice house...not as nice as some of the ones around there, but still it's nice. It is inhabited by two older people, and you can tell. The house has the most horrid decoration I have ever seen...and it smells like old people. And they have two cats.
Anyway, so we decide that we are going to watch a movie, so we rearrange the furniture, get a blanket and put it in...it took us like 20 minutes to figure out the dvd player and stuff, since none of the remotes in the house actually work. We decided on Walk The Line. We got just under two hours through it, then Tim wanted to turn it off and play cards. That sort of bothered me, because I was into the movie, but Uno is my fave card game,so off we went.
We played three games...I lost two of them. I am such a good card player, I don't know what happened. I am now claiming that I let him win, for his ego. So Mr. ADD then decided he was not playing any more cards, and we started an intense game of 20 questions...which ended up lasting us until 3am, at which point I decided if I was going to sleep, it'd have to be right then that I made the decision to come home, and stuck to it.
So home I came...defeated at Uno, bruised ego, puffy eyes due to cats.
But believe it or not, it was so much fun!
We have a rematch tonight, after i'm done work.
I think i'm getting old...I enjoy Uno way too much for a young person
