Things are coming along. Things are finally coming along. In a recent change of events, I found myself FINALLY jumping into the dating scene with both feet, and my entire heart (intact, band-aid free, by the way.) It seems the time has healed many wounds for me.
I am partly blonde. Yes, you read that right. I have made drastic changes to my hair...it brought something out in me.
I went on a couple of dates last week. Guy seemed nice enough. Wasn't the best looking, but I could almost get past it. He ended up being a booze hound though, so I passed and moved on to the next. He will be coming over tomorrow to hang out. I didn't realize how easy it is to date. All this time, that's what i've been missing out on.
Work is great, and i'm diving into that full force, as well. I have set my sights on a nice promotion and will be there by the summer, for sure. I have FINALLY found my place in the training classes I want, and proven to the people that matter, that I know my job inside out.
Family..never get to see them anymore, but I guess things are being worked on, back home, and who knows, one day they might be normal people. haha. I doubt it, though.
I have my work Christmas party to go to this weekend, and am deciding who i want to bring with me, as my date. It will probably be a boring event as the girls are all pregnant and the fun ones who aren't, aren't coming. :(
Apparently i've been picked as the next one to get pregnant. I would've hit the person who said that, but she's pregnant :P lol. I told her i'd have to find someone to impregnate me first...turns out that's not as hard as I thought. haha.
So yeah, things aren't so bad around these parts.
