Just got home from the store. Been out for a few hours. I did have a pretty good day. I woke up at like 9:30am which is such a rarity. I was all ready to go by 10am but the roomie was still in bed. We finally got cupboards in the kitchen. I like it. Our kitchen is sooo adorable. It's a tiny little room with a small counter, an old fridge and stove, and a couple mis-matched shelves. We have an itty bitty table with two old diner-style chairs. The walls are painted as a farm scene, so the colours are blue, green, white and brown. It's so cute. The floor is painted white too, which is cool. I love our kitchen.
We finally got groceries today! Yay! I bought lots of food, and Alix bought like..none. That bothers me cause she always eats mine. Oh well. I spent like $42 this time, which is a lot compared to usual. *sigh* Watching my money vanish, totally sucks.
Oh, and i wanted to buy one more thing for myself before i stopped spending and i can't. I'm quite disappointed. There's this movie that i really want. I saw it in the theatre just after my birthday and i said i was going to buy it as soon as it came to video. It came to video last week i think and i didn't have any money then, so i had to wait. So i went out looking for it today and couldn't find it at the mall. I decided to go up to the Blockbuster at the end of the street and while i was there they told me that it didn't come out to buy on VHS. GASP! I only buy videos. I'm so scared about DVD's takeover, because my tv is like..a couple years old and i love my tv and i don't want to buy a new one with a DVD player in it. I want my VHS! lol. *Sigh* Sooo, i will have to buy it used next week.
Oooh. While we were at the store, we got a new pet! yay! I fell in love with this adorably adorable mouse and i wanted it sooooo badly and i had it picked out and i had all the stuff in my hand for it, but Alix talked me out of it. I wanted it so badly that I didn't want to listen to her, but she did have a good point. Buying a mouse without first talking it over with Janet, is not the best idea. So, i will talk to Janet this week and get the mouse later. We did, however get a fish while we were at the store. She is a betta fish and her name is Latoya Lopez-Fitzgerald. I had no part in naming her, but i kinda like it ;) She's pretty. She is this pretty red and blue mix and at the end of her tail, she's purple. We bought a purple tank with purple gravel so that she matched. Yay! I like having a pet now.
On another completely different and more serious note...Did you ever wonder if people make bets about you? Like, sometimes i wonder if behind my back my friends talk about me and guess how long it will take for me to breakdown, or how long my latest phase will last. I was thinking today that I always end up as the playing piece in people's little games. They like to manipulate me and know that at the drop of a pin, i'm there for them. Well, i want to change that. Like i said yesterday..i'm going to be stronger.
Anyways, over all it has been a pretty decent day.
